Favorite Websites

I thought I would pass along some of my favorite ways to waste time to each of you. I have some websites that I check many times a day.

First of all, I check my google reader to see who has updated their own blogs. Google reader is the coolest thing ever. Instead of checking each persons blog daily to see if they have added anything, google reader tells me when people have updated it. It is the coolest thing ever. Check it out, you will love it too. It has actually reduced the amount of time I waste on the computer. I think you have to have a google account to use it, but they are free and easy to use. Besides stalking all my friends, and people who I rarely know who have blogs, there are a couple of other great sites I check frequently.

First is www.slickdeals.net. As it sounds, this sight list all the good deals out there both in stores and online. Just last week I got some sheets from Linens-n-Things for $25 that were 400 thread count and Egyptian cotton. Now I am waiting for $200 worth of bulbs (flower bulbs) to be shipped from Holland that I got for $30. Our yard is in major need of some more color and I love flowers anyways.

My new favorite site is www.babycheapskate.com I know its not very helpful for those of you who don't have kids, but it is very helpful for those of use wanting to save $ on kid/baby stuff. One of my favorite things about it is they have diaper and formula deals of the week. This lady does all the searching around for us, to find out where to get the cheapest diapers. This is very helpful as diaper prices went up recently and are suppose to go up again soon. I am now glad that I tried store brand diapers which are soo much cheaper and work good. I still prefer Pampers at night though. So, now I know that Pampers will be on sale next week at CVS (a really good sale) and there will be a new pampers coupon in the paper on Sunday (6/1). Mom and dad, will you clip that for me?
