Reading with daddy

It must be natural

I guess little boys learn to do this naturally. I really don't think he has seen us (read Caleb) do this but I could be wrong. Luckily I had just emptied the gallon, so there wasn't a mess to clean up (not from the milk at least). I was letting him help me make pancakes, so we did have a mess from that.

Granddaddy

We went to Caleb's parents house last Saturday to watch the Carolina game. It was nice to watch it on the big tv and to have help with the kids. Aaron isn't entertained by the game for very long. Here are some pics of Caleb's dad and Lydia.

1 month

We went to the Dr. Monday for Lydia's 1 month appt. She is doing well. She is 7 lbs 9 oz. Still on the small side, but what would you expect for a girl born at 6 lb 2 oz. I looked back at pictures of Aaron at a month, and he looked huge. That's probably because he was knocking at the door of 11 lbs.

Look how small she looks in her crib!

Carolina Girl

Here is Lydia in her Carolina gear from the Bacons (thanks guys!!) Its still a little big, but one has to watch the games in style.

Ringing ears

On Monday Caleb's grandmother, Mimma came for a visit. When you get up close to her hearing aids they making a ringing noise. Aaron discovered this and spent 5-10 minutes listening to Mimma's ears ring. He thought it was hilarious and went back and forth between each ear. Here are some pictures of him and Mimma listening to the ringing.

snow day

Aaron and I ventured out for a little while yesterday for some fun in the snow. He enjoyed it for a while until he fell down. After his first fall, he wanted to still play, but hold my hand. After the second fall, he lost it and just wanted to go inside. I don't blame him...I don't like being wet and cold either.
