I am enjoying a quiet minute while Aaron is down for a nap. Somehow he has gotten a bad cold. It has been a rough day with a lot of crying, a never stopping running nose, and sitting in the car in the driveway for an hour while Aaron got in a tiny nap. To some of you, that might sound crazy, but I know plenty of other moms who have done the same thing out of desperation. At least I got caught up on some reading I have been trying to do. Anyways, on to the purpose of this post. I need help. Aaron hasn't been eating very well the last week or so, even before this cold. Which I am honestly not too worried about. But, he absolutely refuses any veggies now. Baby food or solids. So, I thought I would be sneaky and make veggie pancakes. They don't compare to my dad's by any means, but they aren't too bad. Aaron ate one, but hasn't touched them again. Anyways, does anyone have some good ideas how to sneak some veggies in to the little guy? Didn't some actor's wife write a book about that? Anyone know what it is?
On to cleaning up, or procrastinating cleaning.

computer and blogging problems
I have tried to do the last post 3 times now and it is not cooperating. I know some pictures are missing and I will try to fix it soon. I am honestly so frustrated with our computer and blogging, which explains the lack of blogs recently. For some reason, every time I try to add pictures, our computer freezes or I get some type of error from blogger. So, sometime when I have the patience and time I will try to get everything fixed and updated. I guess this is what we get for buying a cheap computer. We will not make that mistake again.
Aaron's first hair cut
For a while now I have been putting off cutting Aaron's hair. He has needed a hair cut for a while. So, a couple weekends ago, I finally did it. It did not go over well though. At least I got it trimed around the edges. If anyone has suggestions, I would love to hear them.
Stopping for a photo 1/2 way through. And to regain composure."What is mommy about to do with those???"
Giving me instructions of where to cut.
"Got to keep an eye on her"

Birthday Cake
In my opinion, Aaron's birthday cake deserves its own post. Caleb's mom make it for him. Not only was it cute as can be, it was soo good. Caleb and I just finished the leftovers which were good days later. Robin, we can't thank you enough for making the cake. I hope you don't mind a few more in the years to come. Aaron enjoyed the cake and dug right in. I don't think he realized at first what a treat he was about to get. But once he got his bear, he knew how to take care of it.
